a midnight well spent.

thursday night, i attended the breaking dawn premiere with brittany and maddy.
it was quite the experience.
let me tell you the must do's of such a night:
of course it's necessary to hit up macey's for your snacks before hand. (and about a billion other ladies had this same idea, because when we got there, it was wiped out.)
after this arrive at the theaters and stock up on free water cups.
once you've taken your seat and you notice two attractive males sitting on your row,
you have to make many trips back to the lobby just so you can pass them.
or trip on them, in brittany's case.
try hard not to eat all the candy before the actual movie begins. if necessary, hide it.
once the movie starts, you MUST scream&holler at the sight of a shirtless taylor lautner.
you must remain silent when an extremely unloved robert pattinson comes onscreen.
& if you are a hilarious middle aged woman who feels compelled to yell "TEAM CHARLIE!" unexpectedly,
please do so, for the comedic pleasure of the entire theater.
most importantly, don't fall asleep.
even if it is 2 in the morning & you have school in t-minus 5 hours.
yes, i did attend school the next day. no, i didn't make it past lunch.
was it worth it? oh, heck yes.(:

super fun night. memories made. i love my friends. & love my life.

&if i'd ask for one thing, just say i love you

cady groves is one amazing gal.
let me tell you. i discovered her a couple days ago, thanks to the boy.
& i've been hooked ever since.
she has a beautifully unique voice & alternative perspective that makes her music oh-so-addicting.
if you're a never shout never fan, you'll most likely love her. i certainly know i do.

                                  check her out:

real with me. love.

oh darling. i think every girl wants a love like this.

what's your music addiction nowadays?

&i wished for you.

well folks. yesterday was 11/11/11. (: a very magical day if i do say so myself.
i'm a strong believer in wishing. 11:11 is the most important time of day for me,
not to mention 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 & so on.. and countless eyelashes, lucky pennies, and candles.
anywho,
last night, lyndi, megan, matt, alex, connor & myself had some great adventures..
first & foremost: i made an 11:11 cake. check it:

sweet right?(: i try.
basically at 11:11 p.m (after making the most spectacular wish that can ever be wished) we screamed&danced. we were very excited.
great night full of laughs. i love my friends.(:
i'm so greatful i had the opporitunity to be alive for this once-in-every-hundred-years day.
definately a day to remember.(:
love you all.

you are not alone.

ever have one of those days,
where nothing seems to go your way?
you drop your binder, you rip your tights, you hair won't curl, your makeup won't blend right, you cheat on your diet, you feel completely & utterly alone.
today was one of those days. and let me tell you, it was hard on me.
i'm the kind of person who is primarily optimistic, always having a good day, constant smile on my face.
so at the end of this day, i was distraught, tired, sad, dissapointed, all emotions that are so out of the ordinary for me that i simply could not comprehend it.
but you know what?
it's completely okay to have an off day.
it's a good opporitunity to - instead of focusing in what made your day so bad - reflect upon some things that usually make your day so good.
here's a list of things that make for a good day in my book:
-a good laugh. (repeat x a zillion)
-a good run.
-cute conversations with the boy.
-spending time with friends.
-bubble baths.
-naps.
-relaxing and reading a good book.
-listening to jbiebs christmas album.

& if you're having a not-so-amazing day as well, remember that tomorrow's a fresh start.

love you all.
